Understanding SAT Math (Part 1 of 8): Introduction

This is the first of a series of posts where I’ll discuss SAT math.

My aim is to provide parents, students and teachers insight into the most challenging math tested on the SAT - both what is tested and how it is tested.

Relatively few concepts are tested on the SAT, but they are tested as “logic problems”. Students get the answer by understanding the logical implication of the concept tested. So the challenge to the student is to correctly identify the concept tested, and know what the logical implications of that concept are.
